Bird is one of Brooklyn’s first fashion destinations. It was voted Best Women’s Boutique in New York City by New York Magazine in 2008 and Top Visionary Boutique in the United States by Lucky Magazine in 2007.

The original Bird store in Park Slope opened in 1999. The second location in Cobble Hill opened in 2006. The Park Slope store was relocated in 2008 to a larger space to accommodate the addition of men’s wear and accessories. The third location, a 2500 sq. ft. LEED-certified space designed by Norwegian architect Ole Sondresen, opened on Grand Street in Williamsburg in February 2009.

atured women’s collections include 3.1 Phillip Lim, Acne, A.P.C., Alexander Wang, Isabel Marant, Maison Martin Margiela Ligne 6, Rachel Comey, Stella McCartney, Thakoon, Tsumori Chisato, Yigal Azrouël, Zero + Maria Cornejo.

She travels for inspiration, seeking out the best fashion collections and design objects from Reykjavik to Buenos Aires, her latest obsession.
